Not necessarily. Input compatibility and native screen resolution are different specifications. A monitor may accept a 4K signal and display it on a Full HD screen. Check both specifications on the product page.

Power options vary by model and version. Desview monitors may support an NP-F battery, V-mount battery, USB-C power, or a DC adapter. Use the power source and voltage specified for your exact model.

Check your camera's video output connector, resolution, and frame rate against the monitor's supported input formats. Some Desview models have HDMI only, while others also support SDI. Consider screen size, brightness, power options, and mounting requirements. If you are unsure, send your camera model and intended output settings to support@desview.com.

Depending on the model, Desview monitors offer tools such as focus peaking, waveform, histogram, false color, and vectorscope. Review the product page or manual for the tools available on your monitor.

Check whether a LUT, HDR mode, or other display setting is enabled on either device. Also compare their brightness settings. If the difference remains, contact support with your camera and monitor models and photos of both screens.

Confirm that your camera's external video output is enabled and that the monitor is set to the correct input. Then check the cable and try a resolution and frame rate supported by your monitor. If the issue continues, contact support with both device models and your camera's output settings.

A monitor LUT does not, by itself, change the file recorded in your camera. Check your camera's recording settings if you want that look in the recorded footage.

Supported prompting-device sizes vary by model. For example, the T3 supports phones or tablets up to 11 inches, and the T12S supports devices up to 12.9 inches. The TP170 supports prompting displays up to 17 inches. Check the product page and mounting dimensions for your device before ordering.

Check that the lens is centered behind the glass and that the camera mount is adjusted for your setup. A very wide lens may also capture the edge of the teleprompter. Test a narrower field of view or adjust the camera position before recording.

The beamsplitter glass reflects the script toward the presenter while the camera records through the glass. Align the camera and prompting screen correctly, then make a short test recording to check the result.
